Climbing in Hamburg
Hamburg has many indoor climbing halls & gyms with the most modern climbing venue in northern Germany. It is the paradise for all climbers - whether amateur or professional climbers. Here, each climbing beginner is able to make their first climbing attempts in a separate area and undisturbed. Those who want to test themselves and their climbing skills can try the city’s indoor climbing halls. With its various climbing elements, such as corners, boards, edges, or overhangs, it offers a wide variety of opportunities and degrees of difficulty.
With about 500 routes as well as about 50 boulder problems to a total of approx. 3,800 sqm of climbing area, the DAV Kletterzentrum Hamburg is the largest climbing facility in northern Germany. Besides bouldering possibilities in the separated Boulderbereich, for everyone something is thereby (difficulty grades from 3 to 10). A beginners' area offers climbing enthusiasts the opportunity to discover the sport of climbing.
The largest bouldering hall in North Germany has been created here on 2000m². With enough space for beginners and professionals. But even the very small ones will get their money's worth in the children's area. Special groups of groups enable boulderevents - from children's birthdays to company incentives. With 200 bouldering routes there is something for everyone. Ambitious competition climbers as well as beginners and children will get their money's worth.
Nordwandhalle is the large, modern, sunny and sympathetic climbing hall in the south of Hamburg with a large boulder area. Quietly located in the island park and perfectly and fast tied over the S3 from the main station. On over 4,500 m2 of wall space, everyone can enjoy more than 320 climbing routes in one of the largest climbing centers in the north, while enjoying the view of the park through huge glass fronts, or climb up in the huge outdoor area in good weather.
